Our Mission: To provide food, shelter, clothing and basic living needs for poor and needy Baltimore residents.

The Rabbi Chaim Nachman Kowalsky Memorial Ahavas Yisrael Charity Fund Incorporated was founded in 1976  to help individuals and families in need.  This charity has the lowest overhead of any charity of its size in Maryland, which insures that donors' contributions go directly to the poor and needy. The Owings Mills Times, Television Channel 45 News, and Baltimore Jewish Times have called Ahavas Yisrael “The Stealth Charity." Keeping a low profile protects the dignity of our clients.
